gayle's out. hmm. i have no feelings about her leaving the competition. perhaps she chose the wrong song? like.. leave is sucha terrible song to choose. yeah sure it's r&b with a hint of pop. but u gotta be more technical than that girl. anyways, knew her time was up. i have a feeling emilee might stay in the competition for a little while.. it's alot like last SI Jerry. remember that dude?

ok so here's my review of yesterday's performance... in chrono order.

mathilda:
sang bootylicious. i think her voice is waaaaay to powerful to sing that kinda song. that song requires a singer with a smooth voice with power AND the ability to control it. her voice is like suited for songs by aretha and all those powerhouse vocals.

emilee:
the getai singer that could possibly be the only one to walk the stages of SG idol. she sang just like a peel(pill). 'nuff said. i'm not gonna diss her on the net.

hady:
sang maria maria. hmm he sang without emotion. no conviction. bad diction. but he has natural talent. which makes him a great singer. just need to improve a teensy bit to be a STAR.

jas:
there you'll be. lion's mane =) ok la. wrong song choice. ok la. it was rampant on the show. so can i say yesterday was a bad show.i think she went flat a coupla times. ok la looks are there. so yeah. better singing please

joe:
lonely no more. hmm the dude who reportedly lives in simei. great performer. funny guy. terrible singer.

paul:
my sacrifice. smth was wrong wit him ytd. wasn't on form urh. EMO is bad for your health

nurul:
torn. cool rendition of the song. she made it her own. so enjoyed the performance. she might possibly be the third best performer of the night.

gayle:
leave. bad bad bad choice of song. even the original singer can't sing it live. ok la, she left the competition. shall be nice.

jon:
smooth. he sang in the opposite of a falsetto. haha.. deep voice man. ok la. should start rockin out real soon.

jay: forgot wad he sang. but it was emotional. haha. ok la.. best performance of the night..

rahimah rahim:
im with you. the classic performance by RR. another best performance. greate voice. i am afraid of her gettin a tad too rock.






can't really blog a proper entry urh. busy busy. ideas presentation right now. and congrats qh and gq on getting 100% for econs paper! dun get swell headed ppl! mid terms comin. and yeah. next week is stats. AND IDEAS. tmr is A1 panel for IDEAS.

the following week. MOB. crapload of stuff to memorize. and the best part of all. the following week is holiday to prepare for the MID TERMS which will commence the week after the break. like i said. i AM busy with exams and presentations.
